Sudan Football Association have refused to have a contract with Ghanaian coach Kwasi Appiah for his request of $25,000.00 as monthly salary to train the Sudan National Team,
The Sudanese Football Association closed the door for negotiations with Ghanaian coach James Kwasi Appiah after they had submission from more than 40 coaches wanting to coach the National Team.
The Association had entered into direct negotiations with its President through its Chairman Dr. Kamal Shaddad with Kwasi Appiah about 10 days ago.
Shaddad, who is also the supervisor of the first team, revealed the development of the decision not select the coach explaining “We dismissed the contract with Kwasi Appiah because he asked for a salary of 25 thousand dollars.”
Dr. Shaddad added that he informed to the Ghanaian coach of rejecting his request and ending negotiations with him after he had returned from the CAF Awards ceremony in Cairo.
Meanwhile the Sudanese FA have started negotiations with another foreign coach having a salary cap of around $15,000.00.
