The Porcupine Warriors continued their impressive performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League with another away win over Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon.
Coach Maxwell Konadu's charges inflicted a 2-1 home defeat on Hearts of Oak in their match-day six clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Rainbow boys looked very dangerous in the early minutes of the game but failed to register a goal with the numerous goal glaring opportunities.
New signing Daniel Afriyie came close to score on the third minute but his header went wide as Emmanuel Nettey and Joseph Esso couldn't utilize the chances created on the 6th and 7th minute respectively.
Asante Kotoko gained possession to dominate the match with fearsome attack and brilliant passes which earned them the opener before the quarters.
On the 11th minute, Justice Blay powered the Porcupine Warriors to victory in the first department with a stupendous header from a free-kick effected by Augustine Okrah.
The last twenty minutes of the first half was balanced as both sides possessed the ball in the midfield.

After the break, Hearts of Oak gained possession to mount pressure on the visitors to earn them the equaliser after the hour mark.
On the 63rd minute, Joseph Esso levelled the score for the Phobians with a cool finish as they were in search for more goals.
Kotoko nearly restored the lead on the 75th minute through Emmanuel Gyamfi but his powerful header was fisted out by Richard Attah.

In the dying embers of the game, Asante Kotoko restored the lead from the spot after Matthew Anim's shot was blocked by Mohammed Alhassan's right hand.
